Starting with the October 2026 tournament, the “Tsingtao Beer Men’s Night Singles Tournament” will introduce a points-based ranking system.
Six Months of Competition Leading to the Grand Champion Tournament
Tournaments are held once a month in each of three divisions: Beginner–Intermediate, Intermediate–Advanced, and Over 30.
From October 2026 through March 2027, points earned in each tournament will be accumulated, with rankings announced at the end of each month. The top eight players in the overall ranking across all three divisions will qualify for the Grand Champion Tournament, to be held on April 11, 2027.
Rather than being decided by a single result, the tournament rewards players for their performance and continued efforts over six months, giving them a chance to advance to the next stage.
Participation gifts and special prizes will be awarded at the Grand Champion Tournament.
